I Can’t Believe He Said This!!!

I can’t believe that Jesus actually said this! But he did.

…."Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. - Mat 11:28 NLT

Are you tired of the rat race and going around the hamster wheel of what we call life? Are you stuck in a loop? Do you just keep going around and around in circles and can’t get off this ride? I was like that for years with drugs and people pleasing but then I remembered what I was taught from the bible growing up and decided to go back to church. There I found a family that loved me, accepted me, prayed with me, coached and mentored me. Sure, they were flawed humans just like me. But these guys and gals loved me and led me into a relationship with Jesus the King and this Jesus has been my guide ever since.

This Jesus healed me and delivered me from my habits to drugs and people pleasing and allowed me to make a break from the pressures of what people might think of me. I was afraid of giving up those “friends” of mine who like I were, still trapped in the same cyclical motion of drugs and what people thought. I stopped getting advice from those who were in the same circle that I was trapped in and started listening to those who had their very own testimonies of how Jesus had delivered them and set them free. I have to say that some things left immediately while other things took time a patience, on both God’s and my part.

There is nothing to difficult for Jesus to help you with. The fact is that Jesus came with all the power of heaven at his first coming and robbed, pillaged the kingdom of our enemy, the world, the flesh and the devil. Not only did Jesus die on the cross for us, to take away our sins but the life he lived was a demonstration to the power of his love for you and I. Scripture says Jesus went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil. He healed all manner of sicknesses and diseases among the people. Everything the enemy threw at him he overcame. Now he sits next to the Father as a conquering king on his throne over the heavens.

…."Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.

How can I pray for you?
